Some big news, with an announcement by CEO and founder Davie Craik, that the agency will be transitioning to become employee owned, as an Employee Ownership Trust.

Davie said: “It feels good to get this out there. Fundamentally, employee ownership is about freedom, fairness and the connections between people. And there’s a global movement building around it, based on the belief that the rewards of a successful business should be shared among the people who create that success. That sounds so obvious and simple when you say it, but often isn’t the reality.

And particularly in terms of a creative agency, all we ever are is a collection of people really, plus some technology, like AI or whatever. So, it’s always struck me that the best agency would be the one with the most talented and committed people, and the best way to achieve that would be to reward them and involve them.

But the bigger picture matters too. When we live in a world where the 26 richest individuals have more wealth than the poorest 3.8 billion put together, clearly something has got badly out of kilter. We want to put our own tiny wee dent in that, and to be part of a conversation around how positive change can be enacted.”

Talkin’ bout a revolution, Davie 🚀

What’s not changing though is that he and our core team aren’t going anywhere. In case you missed it, we recently bolstered our senior leadership team with three head-turning hires. Along with the rest of our management team, they’re there to make the (b)right decisions for staff and crucially of course, for our amazing clients.

This transition simply would not be possible without the support of the lovely people who enlist our services and give us the chance to create great work. So, thank you for that!

If you have any questions about the ownership shift then just give us a shout.
