Fail small. Win big.

The agency of the future?

Our agency is structured around a simple yet powerful concept. We don’t have account managers and we don’t have “creatives”. Our content teams work in pairs. Each duo generates ideas, deals directly with clients and produces content. They’re supported by a team of specialist designers, animators, editors, coders, makers, strategists and analysts.

This approach lets us get from concept to prototype to production at breakneck speed, responding to reactive opportunities within hours, or even minutes.

Agile pioneers.

We were one of the first agencies in the world to design our entire model around the concept of agile marketing. We’ve since advised numerous brands and agencies who’ve approached us to find out more about our methods.

We favour iterative experiments over fire-and-forget campaigns, flexible planning rather than rigid schedules, and empirical evidence above subjective opinion.

And to analyse that evidence, we’ve built our own software called Steffi (Graph) that measures and optimises social media content, in real time.

Innovation lab.

Our team of makers and breakers create magical experiences that bring brands to life in the real world.

From a 9-foot Twitter powered guitar made from 800 cans of Magners, to a robot bartender (coincidentally also 9-foot), to the world’s first camera system that lets users rewind time to capture live video highlights from participation sport, after the action has happened.

We also help clients prototype digital products and concepts to get real feedback from real users before scaling, or scrapping. And we run several digital product Ventures of our own, or as joint-ventures with brands.

Idea led. Results driven.

Our approach works. In 2016 we created:

  • The top 5 Magners social media posts, ever.
  • 8 of the top 10 social media posts ever by Jura Whisky.
  • 11 of the top 12 Tennent’s social media posts of all time.
  • Five pieces of content that cost less than £100 to make, but were seen by more than 1 million people.
  • The most successful piece of haggis-related social media content that the world has ever seen.

We also won more awards than we entered, including Scotland’s most coveted digital marketing award. We won it in 2015 too.
